Raj from Silos Estate had the honourable pleasure of intrducing Bernie Fraser to the stage for his presentation.  Bernie went on to deliver a presentation about Australia's economic future and how the current government expenditure (Stimulis package) could but probably wouldn't effect our children and grand children.  Bernie had a very optimistic and positive outlook for the future of Australia, but there were conditions.  He made it very clear that our future prosperity would clearly hinge on the decision makers (our Politicians) of the day.  Bernie also went onto comment on the US economy and predicted that the US would need to go through some years of a reduction in lifestyle to reign in their current level of debt.  Likewise he was also concerned about the Japan economy saying it was in worse shape than the US.

"Australia is well positioned globally"
Bernie said relating to our ties with the emerging economies, which he sees as the future global economical powerhouses.

In closing Bernie took questions from the audience which capped off a great evening.  Michelle Miran thanked Bernie for his very informative address and presented him with a gift of Silos Estate Wine.  Michelle also thanked Peoplecare Health Insurance for their Sponsorship on the night and last but not least thanked Megan Cleary from Industry and Investment NSW for their continued support for Guest Speakers at our events.
