Terms and Conditions
Conditions
of Entry:
1. Judging
Panel decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. Winners
will not be notified prior to the Gala Awards Dinner to be held on Friday, 24th of
September;
3. Entrants
must be willing to participate in Awards related publicity organised by the
Shoalhaven Business Chamber and agree to be contacted by all media sponsors
before and after entry to the Awards and the event.
4. Entry submissions will NOT be returned to the entrants.
Judging:
Applications
will be assessed by independent expert Judging Panels made up of senior
industry figures and members of the professions, together with a range of other
key distinguished stakeholders. There
will be a separate Judging Panel comprising 2 judges for each Award Category. The entire judging process will be overseen by
an independent auditor.
The
Judging Panels may conduct interviews with all Finalists (to be selected by the
Judges) and may undertake site visits to some entrants (if appropriate). Should
your business be selected as a finalist, the interview will take place at an
independent venue at the discretion of the Judges. The Judging Panels reserve the right not to
issue an Award in a given category.
The weighting of the entry and interview process is 50% for the entry and 50%
for the face to face interview.
Confidentiality:
All
information provided will be considered as commercial in confidence by the
Shoalhaven Business Chamber and will only be accessible to the organising staff
of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber and the Judging Panels. Judges will be
required to sign a Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest Agreement. No
information contained in applications will be published without the express
permission of the applicant and all copy to be used for media purposes will be
cleared with the applicant before publication.
