Why are we holding a workshop?
Last year we ran the first ever Award Entry Workshops. Feedback was really positive, and a number of the participants won Awards. But what participants said they really wanted was assistance with their category questions. They wanted help on how to address the entry questions, and understand whether their proposed response would be what the judges are looking for.
So this year, following feedback, we have changed the way we offer support so that we can still share helpful tips, but give entrants one-on-one help with their entries. All our tips and insights are shared via the TAFE NSW sponsored Awards Insider podcast.
The workshop will be more hands on. The purpose is to equip entrants with the education, tools and support required to produce an outstanding award entry.
If you want to hear more about what we will cover in the workshop, and why you should attend, listen to episode 7 of the Awards Insider podcast. Chance and Miranda talk with Robbie Collins, Head of UOW Shoalhaven about the benefits of gaining one-on-one assistance with your entry.
By allocating time to attend the workshops, you will give yourself the best possible chance of producing an outstanding entry.
The following people will be available at the workshop to answer all your questions:
Raj Ray – Chair of Judges
Robbie Collins – Head of UOW Shoalhaven and past Awards judge for many years
Peter Masterson – past Awards judge for many years
Brendan Goddard -President, Shoalhaven Business Chamber
Miranda Packer – Awards Manager
