If you do not wish to enter the 2024 Shoalhaven Business Awards 2024 but you still want to be involved – we would love you to be a JUDGE!!
STEPS INVOLVED
• Judges lodge conflicts of interest and sign confidentiality agreements
• Judges are assigned to categories
• Judges review and score all entries in their category online
• Judges input their interview scores and category finalists are determined
• Finalists are contacted and announced
• Interviews are undertaken
• Judges input their interview scores and winners are determined
• Judges meet to determine Business of the Year
• Winners’ names are provided to the Shoalhaven Business Chamber for announcement at the Awards Gala
We would like to share with you the critical dates and timelines to ensure you are able to fulfill your judging commitments if you would like to be involved in judging the Shoalhaven Business Awards 2024.
The critical dates are below:

| Friday | 17 May | Conflict of interest forms returned |
| Monday | 24 June | Online judging of written entries open |
| Thursday | 6 June | Online judging of awards closed for judges |
| Thursday | 20 June | Finalists announced |
| Monday | 24 June | Finalists interviews open |
| Friday | 12 July | Finalist interviews closed |
| Monday | 22 July | Final Judges Meeting |
| Friday | 16 August | Awards Gala night |
The judging process is broken down into two phases; scoring an initial written entry and an online interview. Two judges are assigned independently score each category and the entire judging process is overseen by our Chair of Judges, Raj Ray and our auditors.
As a judge, your role is exceedingly important. We ask you to identify the most outstanding businesses in our region through reviewing applications online through a portal independently and then interviewing finalists with your judging partner over zoom or in a neutral location.

The exciting part about our Shoalhaven Business Awards 2043 is that we are hoping it will be bigger than 2023 and that saw us have more entries than any other year and over 40 different businesses in the Shoalhaven represented.
