Are you our Awards Manager?

The Shoalhaven Business Chamber is requesting expressions of interest (EOI) from experienced and qualified Event Management specialists to manage the Shoalhaven Business Awards for 2019.

This will be the regions 35th Annual Awards. The Awards program runs from May through to August 2019. Preparation is already partially underway, but we also need a superstar Awards Manager to join the team.

About the Awards

The Awards program consists of approximately seventeen categories. As a result of this, the winners from a number of categories will advance to the finals in the Illawarra Business Awards.

The Shoalhaven Business Awards are about so much more than just winning. They are about recognising and honouring the most outstanding businesses in our great Shoalhaven region.

The Awards also gives businesses the opportunity to review business operations. This can enable them to reconnect vision and strategy and also measure performance against objectives. Many entrants see the Awards as a time for forced self-assessment, which helps keep them accountable to their goals.

What does an Awards Manager do?

As the Awards Manager, you are responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the complete Awards program. You will be involved in the Awards Program form beginning to end. Supported by the Chamber’s Awards Committee, it is important that this role works with a range of stakeholders including sponsors, entrants, judges, SPBA, suppliers, Chamber members and the broader business community to create an exciting and engaging Awards program.
