HopDog BeerWorks, the Shoalhaven’s very own craft brewery, and our Beer Sponsor, will be supplying our beer for the Awards Gala.
Not only is it important for the Chamber to support local businesses, but where possible, it is our intent to partner with local producers and suppliers.
And in celebration of the synergise theme, HopDog wants all guests to collaborate in the brewing process of a customised beer that will be brewed exclusively for the Awards.
So if you are an aspiring brewer, a connoisseur of craft beer, or just want an opportunity to be part of a pretty exciting pre-Award event, join us for an afternoon of synergising at HopDog on Friday 5 August.
We will also be tasting several of HopDog’s tasty beers, and asking you to tell us your favourites, enabling you to play a role in selecting the beers we will drink at the Awards Gala.
Start & finish time
Start 3:00pm – The official event start time when the Chamber will provide drinks (HopDog beer, of course) and a basic BBQ.
Close 6:00pm – HopDog’s licence requires that no more drinks be served after 6.00pm, so the event will finish shortly after this time.
However please note that the brewing process will start around 12.00pm and finish in the late afternoon. Depending on your level of interest, you may choose to visit HopDog earlier and be more involved with the process.

Tim & Tess from HopDog have put together a brief 4-question survey to help them determine the beer we will brew.
Please take 2 minutes to complete the survey and ensure we brew a beer that meets as many people’s tastes as possible.
What’s involved in a brew day?
Depending on your level of interest, and how involved you want to be, you may choose to be present for the entire brewing process, or just for parts of it.
