Shoalhaven Business Chamber Annual General Meeting

The Shoalhaven Business Chamber Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for members to come together, reflect on the Chamber’s achievements over the past financial year, hear important reports, and have a say in the future direction of the Chamber.

Members will also elect the 2026–2027 Management Committee, with a range of positions available.

Date: Wednesday, 23 September 2026
Time: 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start
Venue: Bomaderry Bowling Club – Sunrise Room
Members: $30 | non-members: $40

Special Guest Speakers – Shoalhaven City Council

We’re also pleased to welcome two guest speakers from Shoalhaven City Council, providing valuable insights and updates relevant to businesses across our region.

Ryan Schulter

Senior Economic Development Officer

Ryan will provide an update on the new Economic Development Plan, including what it means for the future of economic growth and development across the Shoalhaven.

Kristy Mayhew

Tourism Marketing Specialist

Kristy will share insights from Visa spending data across the Shoalhaven, providing a closer look at where visitors and consumers are spending their money across areas including:

• Food and dining
• Accommodation
• Fuel
• Other key areas of spending across the region

This is a great opportunity for local businesses to gain a better understanding of spending patterns and economic activity across the Shoalhaven.

What will happen at the AGM?

Financial Statements & Reports

Members will receive and consider the Financial Statements and Reports for the financial year ended 30 June 2026.

Election of the Management Committee

Members will have the opportunity to nominate for and vote on the following positions:

• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary / Public Officer
• Ordinary Committee Members – 12 positions

Notices of Motion

Members wishing to submit a Notice of Motion for consideration at the Annual General Meeting must provide the motion in writing, including the names of the proposer and seconder.
