At the Shoalhaven Business Chamber we understand the importance of collaboration and building a strong network of like-minded businesses all with a common goal, profitable growth for the Shoalhaven. The Chamber has been providing valuable support for different businesses across the Shoalhaven since 2005. Building relationships and supportive networks is integral to our members so we encourage attendance to our successful networking events in order to get to know their business neighbours better. Since there are hundreds of members, there are plenty of opportunities where you could be providing a product or service that fulfils the needs of another business. These events provide networking opportunities with Shoalhaven businesses, Shoalhaven City Council representatives, councillors and government departmental representatives. Each year, we have monthly Business After Hours networking events, quarterly Super Dinners and a series of lunch and learn and breakfast seminars hosted by different sponsors covering various business topics.
Your Chamber committee members collectively sit on regional, state and federal consultative and advisory bodies including the Illawarra Regional Advisory Group, Regional Development Australia, Shoalhaven Business & Employment Development and the Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee. The Chamber committee holds interests for the arts, business and community partnerships, economic development, education, export, infrastructure law, marketing, tourism and transport. Your Chamber provides a forum to raise issues that affect your business and action major issues on your behalf with local, state and federal government.
