Well, Awards Insider has finally come to completion. From previous award winners, judges, professional writers and story tellers, professors, Chairs of Judges and marketing gurus, Chance and Miranda really have spoken with every possible expert to equip you with everything you need to create a killer entry.

We have put together a compilation of each of our experts’ top three tips just in time for you to put the finishing touches on your entry and really make a spectacular impression.

One piece of advice that rings true throughout the entire series is to allow enough time – each of our guests could not express the importance of this enough! We have learnt that it is incredibly clear to the judges if you have not prepared and had to rush your submission.

And while there is only a week left, you can utilise this by starting now and taking a structured approach.

It is also necessary to let your confidence, knowledge and in particular your passion shine through. It’s so important to communicate to the judges that you love what you do and that you are proud of what you do. One way (as we have learnt many times over, as well!) to achieve this to provide evidence and references – bring your business alive in front of the judges and prove over and over again your success and achievements.

Tell your story and use your own unique voice to stand out, be different and be memorable.

Use the Awards process to get in touch with your vision, to create your brand voice and personality, to recognise and celebrate the hard work of your staff and to most of all – enjoy the journey and have fun!

Good luck on creating an absbolutely stand out and memorable awards submission.

Again, a huge thank you to TAFE NSW, Australia’s leading provider of vocational education and training, for sponsoring our show, and to the HEV Studio where we record and produce the show.

Thanks for listening!
