Is our Employee of The Year working for your business?

This year we are shifting some of the Awards focus to the incredible people who help make our local businesses into success stories: the employees.

While strategy, differentiation and growth are all essential factors of a successful business, it is the people within a business who help turn plans into reality.

And this year, we want to shift some of the spotlight onto them.

We know that many of our Award winning businesses involve their team in their submission, and celebrate with them on the night. And now we are taking it a step further and providing a platform for direct recognition for the great work the employees of the Shoalhaven bring to our business community.

If you have an incredible employee who works for your business, and you would like to see them take out Employee of the Year, you need to nominate and enter them in the Awards.

Ensure you discuss the strategy and contents of the entry with the employee, as they may be able to contribute stories and examples beyond your knowledge. The written entry is not only the deciding factor for selecting finalists, but it also plays a significant role in the final result.

So you want to ensure the written submission give your employee their best possible chance of winning.

Note that employees cannot self-nominate, only an employer can nominate an employee. In the portal, the employer’s name should be in the ‘Contact Name’ page, and the nominee’s name in the ‘Entrant details’ page.

Also ensure you listen to our Awards Insider podcast to get all the tips and insights on creating a standout entry, and register to attend our Award Entry Workshop.

Thanks to Quest Nowra for sponsoring the Employee of the Year Award.
